Rubber duckie – are you the one? (who’s going to kill me?)

So, the new unpleasantness is pthalates, mercury, etc, as heard on the CBC morning show 87.5 Montreal around 9:45 am, you find the link. With some guys having experimented on themselves and written a book on how using regular products and eating tuna, etc, they could detect levels of known or suspected carcinogens rocketing up in their blood. They asked a toxicologist who was like, ah, go fish, and eat the fish, because the levels these guys are talking about are negligible, and the dudes are like – well toxicologists are all about threshold levels, under this is safe, over that is dangerous and we’re all – None is safe! Some is dangerous.

So an interesting topic to explore, and these compounds are hormone disrupting, etc, which means – why not try and avoid? But where does it send the comfy meter? Kind of in the middle – I’m a little hung and soon to be unemployed, so today – I’ll worry (and act upon!) something else.
